The brief for GECKO demanded a simple, clean housing design with a storage area within to contain all loose parts. The product comprises transparent, raised cutouts integrated into a tile, that is then placed over a coloured grid so the bright hue from underneath shines through highlighting the shape of the animal (a stylized gecko, frog and fly). The contrast between the textured and glossy surfaces accentuate the visual appeal of the design.
